The World Construction Championship II registration is now open

The organizers of the World Construction Championship have reported about opening of the event registration. The Championship 2022 will be held in Kazan, Russia and remain open from 5th till 8th of October.

The event registration is already available at the official web-site: pro-wcc.ru; and will be open up to and including 24th of July. After that, competitors will undergo the preliminary stage that will be over on 31st of August.

In the present year there will be 3 categories of participating persons: students visiting specialized colleges, independent participants, and persons employed by the organizations having partnership contracts referring to their teams’ engagement. The competition rules are same for all participating categories.

Competitors will choose among 20 nominations within three groups as follows: industrial construction, industrial design, and construction management.

Winners within each nomination will be awarded with money prizes; the prize fund of 2022 counts 44.1 million rubles.

Apart from the competitions, guests of the event will be able to visit the large multimedia exhibition and business program. The organizers welcome the companies realizing Russia’s and foreign industrial facilities, social organizations, and relevant agencies to take part in the Championship.

While having his speech at the organizing committee’s session of the World Construction Championship, the Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, Mr. Irek Faizullin commented on the relevancy of this event within the terms of present time:

“The current Championship holds much significance within the goals assigned within construction careers’ transformation, improving of professional labor efficiency, and increasing of construction organizations’ competitiveness. This Championship may also become the right platform to represent Russia as being the leading construction power and arrange effective industrial cooperation.” he said.

It is worth reminding that the World Construction Championship was established in February, 2020 by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation and Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation.

The event was originally held in April, 2021 in Sochi, Russia. Around 500 professional construction specialists from Russia, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, Egypt, and Turkey were competing for the championship.
