The questions of implementation of the World Construction Championship II were discussed in Tatarstan

The Ministry of Architecture, Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan has conducted the proceedings related to arrangement of the World Construction Championship II. The event will be running from 5th till 8th of October in Kazan, Russia.

The members of the proceedings chaired by the deputy Minister, Mr. Ilshat Gimaev, have discussed the outstanding issues referring to organization and implementation of the event. The following members have joined the discussion: the adviser of the Minister of Architecture, Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation (Mr. Ruslan Isaev); the head of the engineering support department in the permitting activities and interdepartmental communications’ division of the Ministry of Architecture, Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation (Mr. David Tadeev); the Director of development of the industry construction complex and head of the Office of qualifications and communications in the construction complex of Rosatom’s CEMCP (Mr. Andrey Golovanov); and the head of development and qualifications’ improvement department of Rosatom’s CEMCP + head of the Championship project office (Ms. Svetlana Belyaeva).

Tatarstan’s representatives have spoken about their experience of conduction of large-scale events in Russia and overseas and offered their support in the implementation of the Championship. The issue of the future Volunteer team was discussed individually, in particular: it was discussed how to arrange participation of local young people. The Moscow delegation was assured that Kazan students would be happy to take part in the Championship and warmly welcome the guests.

Before the meeting, they also visited the site in order to finalize allocation of Championship function zones. This event will combine the competitions of professional constructors, the exhibition site, and business program.

The program of the present year will be interesting also to Kazan citizens. Championship’s guests will have chance to visit workshop sessions, popular speakers’ presentations, and the interactive program. There will be free entrance ensured for the guests; and it is already available to register at the official web-site.

It is worth recalling that the World Construction Championship was established in February, 2020 by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation and Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation.

The first event took place in April, 2021, in Sochi, Russia. Around 500 professional constructors from Russia, Qazaqstan, the Republic of Belarus, Egypt, and Turkey were competing for the title of the best.
