The world construction championship has launched “The cities’ contest”

The organizers of the World Construction Championship have announced about the beginning of the selection process related to the future event venue.

The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation has sent the correspondent inquiries to the gubernators of Russia’s largest regions together with invitations to visit the event. The region, which meets the scale and needs of the event, will be granted with the right to host the Championship II.

When evaluating the proposals, the organizers will consider the regional infrastructure, technical equipment of exhibition facilities, logistic system, regional investments to be dedicated to the event, etc.

The winning region will be granted with the official status of the co-organizer of Championship 2022 and all related benefits.

That region will also get incontestable profits. The organizing committee reports that nominations of this year are going to resolve practical issues of a Championship hosting region. Apart from that, holding of such a strategic event will allow the winning region raising investments, arrange mutually-beneficial partnerships, and sign new cooperation agreements.

The organizers note that now it is especially important to support and develop the projects aimed at the grow of Russia’s key economic sectors, and industrial constructions in particular.

It is worth recalling that the first World Construction Championship was originally held in April, 2021, in Sochi, Russia. It took place in the Science and Arts Park “Sirius”.
