The Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, Mr. Irek Faizullin and the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE), Mr. Alexander Shokhin have arranged the proceedings related to the cooperation within constructional technical regulation and improvement of the policy framework.
Discussion was focused on the following subjects: arrangement of the joint work flow chart, elimination of administrative burdens and industry regulation optimization, the program of expansion of metal usage while erecting buildings and facilities, as well as arrangement of a new work flow chart referring to Ministry’s cooperation and business associations.
The parties have successfully developed a new improvement concept for the technical setting/regulation industrial system and created the mechanism to quickly fix typical solutions in regulatory documents (SP).
Mr. Irek Faizullin outlined that one of Ministry’s priorities was to eliminate obstructive barriers and reduce administrative burdens, which put pressure on the construction market stakeholders.
The meeting has also approached the subject of the World Construction Championship that will, as expected, take place in October, 2022.
The Minister addressed to the participating construction organizations of Russia and invited them to visit the World Construction Championship that is going to be arranged by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation and Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation.
The decision on holding the event was taken on 29th of March, 2022 at Championship’s work group meeting in the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation.
The Director of capital investments, state construction supervision and state expertize in Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, Mr. Gennady Sakharov, has emphasized the importance of the present World Construction Championship. “We think that this event being held at this time will favor the partnership within the construction industry on the territories of EAEU, CIS countries, and other states, and it will contribute to the global competitiveness of the country.”
It is worth recalling that the World Construction Championship was established in February, 2020 by the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation and Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation. The event was originally held in April, 2021, in Sochi, Russia.
