The Championship organizing committee has approved the nominations’ list

The federal organizing committee of the World Construction Championship has arranged its first proceedings.

Proceedings were arranged in the in-person format, chaired by the Minister of Construction Industry, Housing and Utilities Sector Mr. Vladimir Yakushev. The organizing committee comprised top management of Rosatom Company Group and a number of Russian industrial enterprises.

Members of the meeting have approved the event concept with consideration of health and disease control, related to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) disease spreading.

It was decided to choose the Main Media-Center in Sochi as the venue of the Championship. The Championship is scheduled for autumn, 2020.

Besides, the organizing committee has approved the list of the Championship company members and the nominations’ table.

Best specialists from leading companies are going to compete within the venue this year: Rostec Company Group; Roscosmos Company Group; RusHydro, PJSC; Inter RAO, PJSC; VSK, Public Not-For-Profit Organization; TMK, PJSC; RZD, OJSC, and Sibur Holding, PSC.

Companies’ employees will carry out individual and command tasks in 19 nominations, among which are: industrial pipelining, information modeling and engineering, manual electric welding, constructional supervision, I&C equipment installation, industrial safety, electric installation of secondary switching, price formation and cost estimation, etc.

The next proceedings are scheduled for august, 2020.
