Deadlines announced for regional contest for the right to host the World construction championship IV

According to the World Construction Championship initiative, an open contest for the right to host the event was organized in order to select the host city for the World Construction Championship IV in 2024.

The World Construction Championship is a large-scale annual event that combines competitions of industrial and civil construction specialists, business program and multimedia exhibition. The event is designed to strengthen cooperation between countries and industrial and civil construction companies within the international scene. The main participants are industry experts from government agencies, business and science sphere, heads of major Russian and foreign companies, as well as representatives of the EAEU, CIS, SCO, BRICS, EAEU, ASEAN, etc.

The concept of the World Construction Championship implies annual regions’ rotation, transfer of experience and best construction practices, as well as their application with further introduction to other cities in Russia and other countries.

While checking the application, the Organizers will consider the following aspects:

1. Developed infrastructure and availability of the potential venue space;

2. Service and transport availability;

3. High motivation and involvement of a region, etc.

The results of the open regional contest for the right to hold the largest event in the construction industry in 2024 will be summed up during the World Construction Championship III taking place in Saint Petersburg, Russia, from 17th till 20th of October, 2023.

The Federal Organizing Committee of the Championship will examine all contest applications in order to make a decision on a competitive basis. Applications are to be submitted to the Ministry Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation by 15th of September, 2023.
